Big Bend and Panhandle Democrats to gather in Wakulla June 4th

On Tuesday, June 4th, area Democrats will gather at Posey's Dockside Cafe in Panacea. Featured speakers for the evening will include Senator Bill Montford. Senator Montford represents the new District 3 which includes Calhoun, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Hamilton, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Madison, Taylor and Wakulla counties.

Senator Montford will be giving an overview of how District 3 fared during the 2013 legislative session.

 Jackson County Commissioner Jeremy Branch will represent the western reaches of Congressional District 2 in his remarks.

Florida's 2nd congressional district consists of the eastern part of the Florida Panhandle. It includes the counties of Washington, Bay, Jackson, Gulf, Calhoun, Liberty, Gadsden, Leon, Jefferson, Wakulla, Franklin, Taylor and part of Madison county.

Gwen Graham. who has filed to run for Congressional District 2, will also speak at the June 4th event.
